Steve Keenan is an experienced Operational and Engineering Executive with the demonstrated expertise in heavy mechanical engineering. For the last 17 years he has been working in Ford of China and Product Development in Detroit Michigan, USA.

Steve’s expertise is in machine and production line guarding, ergonomics, electrical and robotics lockout.  With 33 years’ experience with the Ford Motor Company, he has a reputation for interacting with work partners from the ‘shopfloor’ to Executive Leadership to achieve real outcomes with a dedication to continuous improvement. His signature strengths include investigating issues, evaluating problem areas, communicating information, developing action plans and offering pragmatic solutions.

Steve has a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Federation University and an MBA from RMIT.  He is trained in Ford Production Systems, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt) and ISO9001 Quality Systems.

Steve is an avid supporter of the Richmond Tigers and has a love for English Football (Liverpool).  He still plays football today such is his passion for the round ball game. He also likes watching Formula 1.
